To protect finished products, reduce the probability of product damage, and reduce costs, the following points should be followed:
Ⅰ During loading and unloading
1. The loading and unloading sequence of GRC components should be consistent with the installation sequence;
2. Protective materials should be placed between GRC components and packaging fastening materials during loading and unloading;
3. Smaller GRC components can be manually loaded and unloaded, while larger GRC components need specialized pallets and brackets, and forklifts or cranes. During loading and unloading should keep light, slow, and stable.
Ⅱ During transportation
1. Develop appropriate transportation plans (examining the road conditions of the route, whether there are restrictions on traffic, height, and weight), including transportation time, sequence, route, vehicle balance, component size and load requirements, stacking sites, stacking supports, and protective fixing measures for finished products;
2. Necessary safety measures shall be taken for certain GRC components with special height, super-wide, or special shape;
3. Set up cushion blocks on the transportation vehicle to determine the stacking position of GRC components, ensuring the stability of packaging boxes, pallets, and brackets during transportation;
4. According to the shape and size requirements of GRC components, reasonable fixation and bundling measures should be taken to prevent GRC components from moving, tipping, and deforming during transportation;
5. Emphasis should be placed on taking protective measures for the corners and bundling parts of GRC components.
Ⅲ Stacking on construction site
1. GRC components should not be mixed with other building materials or equipment, and appropriate stacking locations should be planned in advance;
2. Protective rails, warning signs, etc. should be set up in isolation between the work area and other work types to remind non-hoisting operators that they are strictly forbidden to enter and to maintain a safe working distance from other work types;
3. Take protective measures against dust, dirt, and water at the stacking location.
